Hello:I need to re-stone about 500 feet of driveway. I have a JD4100 tractor with loader and a back blade. The stone supplier will deliver the stone and unload it in one big pile. What is the best method to spread the stone and grade it? Should I get a york rake?

I had the same thing occur on my 4100. I have used both filters and had no problem with either of them but I do prefer the larger filter for better filtration. I think that my 4100 uses the same oil filter numbers that you have listed by the way.

RCH, Thank you for your informative description of tree planters. I have never used one and since I have been planting trees for only three years it was very helpful. It sounds like my 4100 may be a little small for a tree planter but I can borrow a larger tractor. My main problem is labor shortage during planting season. My question is is it possible to use a post hole digger for planting? Is it any faster than hand planting? Thank you for your time. John D.

I have a Woods 6 FT back blade for my tractor. Does anyone know if you can buy the rake part of a landscape rake and use it interchangeably with the back blade frame set up? I am trying to be cheep and avoid buying another implement.

I have a Deere 4100 gear tractor and have had it since June. I bought a Woods 5 foot blade for it and have had no problems.
